The burn time of a soy wax jar candle such as this will depend on the burning conditions – principally how much wick is exposed. However, a standard 200g soy wax candle typically burns for around 30-50 hours when burned correctly. Always allow at least 2-3 hours to establish a full melt pool.

On your initial burn, allow the candle to burn long enough for the entire surface of the wax to melt completely – this is crucial. This prevents tunnelling, where the wick creates a small reservoir of wax that doesn’t burn fully, leading to a shorter overall lifespan and a stronger odour.
