The burn time will vary depending on the ambient temperature and ventilation. However, given their size and intended use, you can expect approximately 6-8 hours of burning time from each lantern before needing to extinguish and relight.

It’s a good practice to allow a candle to burn long enough for the entire wax pool to melt across the surface. This prevents tunnelling, where the wick creates a small reservoir of unburnt wax near the edge. Allow at least 3-4 hours for this initial burn.
